Our Story

Greystone Heritage was founded with a singular purpose: to preserve the architectural character of Britain’s most treasured buildings by returning to time-honoured craft and authentic workmanship.

Rooted in Northamptonshire and carrying out traditional building and restoration work across the surrounding counties, we serve discerning homeowners, conservation bodies, and private estates who require a measured and respectful approach to the built environment.

For us, building is not merely construction. It is stewardship.

What
Defines Us

We work on buildings that have stood the test of time, and our role is not simply to repair, but to respect. Every project is approached with a quiet confidence, guided by traditional methods, thoughtful planning, and a deep understanding of what makes a property truly special.Every project we undertake reflects a deep respect for architectural heritage and commitment to uncompromising quality.

Respect for heritage

Every project begins with listening — to the building, to the client, and to its history.

Craft without compromise

We never cut corners. We take our time. The details matter.

Enduring materials

Lime mortar, reclaimed stone, oak beams — nothing synthetic, nothing disposable.

Quiet excellence

There’s no shouting in our work. Just confident, measured precision.

How We Work

From initial consultation to completion, our process is clear, collaborative, and conservation-led.

Consultation & Discovery

We begin by listening. Whether you're restoring a listed home or planning a new extension, we start with a conversation to understand your vision, requirements, and the history of the building.

Site Visit & Assessment

We carry out a detailed survey of the property, noting structural conditions, architectural details, and any heritage sensitivities. This forms the basis for our recommendations.

Planning & Guidance

For listed or sensitive buildings, we liaise with local conservation officers, provide guidance on permissions, and ensure that proposed works meet regulatory expectations without compromise.

Material Sourcing & Preparation

Wherever possible, we use reclaimed or period-appropriate materials. We take pride in matching finishes, sourcing heritage-grade timber, and using traditional mortars and fixings.

Works Begin

Our skilled tradespeople carry out all works with precision and care. Whether restoring a façade or fitting bespoke interiors, we ensure minimal disruption and exceptional quality.

Finishing & Aftercare

Once the work is complete, we carry out a thorough inspection and handover. We remain available for ongoing support and guidance, ensuring your home is ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
